Minimum Age: 

Applicant must be a minimum of 18 years old.

Deck Officers: 

Minimum requirement: Certificate as mate 3rd Class STCW Reg. ll/2

Deck Officers without active seagoing service:

Can apply for an AB position - please contact the HR department during office hours for more on our practice for navigators lacking seagoing service. 

Junior Engineers: 

Minimum requirement: Vessel Engineer Diplome, STCW III/2 & lll/6.

 

Language skills: 

Our official working language is English. We also require that all crew comprehend/speakk at least one of the Scandinavian languages. 

All crew are required to have the following certificates/documents: 

- Valid passport

- Discharge book

- Valid health certificate (Faroese) 

- Security awareness/duties certificate (STCW A-Vl/6-1, 6-2 & 6-5)*

*Applicatns holding SSO certificate are exempted from the requirement to hold security awareness/duties certificate.
